Private swim lessons are offered at Southside Pool (3744 Farber St.) by our swim team coaches. Our coaches can give lessons to swimmers of all ages and teach all four swim strokes. 

Lessons are $50/half hour. Payment is accepted in the form of check/cash, which can be made out to The City of Southside Place.

Our Instructors

Wyatt Hansen- Wyatt has lived in Southside his whole life and was a proud member of the All-Stars for 6 years. He began coaching in 2022, and since has continued to pass down his love for swimming. He is currently a senior at Strake Jesuit and will be attending the University of Texas at Austin in the fall. Wyatt has been on Strake’s swim team for 3 years and a captain of the water polo team for 2 years. He is excited to continue teaching swim lessons for his second year and for his first summer as head coach of the All-Stars.

Zoe Hirshfeld- Zoe has lived in Southside Place since she was five years old and swam as an All-Star for seven years. She has coached the All-Stars for two years and she just finished her freshman year at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Zoe has also worked at Southside Camp in the Little Room, taught lessons for two years, and is very enthusiastic about working with younger swimmers.
