Because the big Southside Place Community Garden party was essentially rained out, we are having a “do-over party.” Called the "Blame the Rain Party" it highlights a silent auction where party-goers can bid on spa treatments, Astros tickets, interior design services etc. The outdoor auction party will be held outdoors in the garden Sunday May 22, 5-7pm. Bubba's Burgers food truck will be serving buffalo and beef burgers in the Southside Place City Hall parking lot, 6309 Edloe. Wine, cheese, chips and beer will be served and it’s BYOB optional. SlimRita's will be giving away free samples of low calorie margaritas. No entrance fee--just donate what you will and bid on goodies. All proceeds go to benefit the Southside Place Community Garden.
